Lakers Can’t Hit a J to Save Their Life

Kobe Bryant had an off night (7-26 from the floor) and the Lakers lost to the worst team in the NBA.

Lamar Odom had a “good” game with 16 boards and 11 assists but he only had 3 points and if the Lakers are going to win this guy needs to score.

Walton and Parker both turned in respectable performances each scoring 15 and 14 respectively. Vujacic kicked in another 11 from the bench…

The only thing that was missing was a decent scoring performance from Lamar Odom.

I get that the guy went 1-7 and decided to  contribute in another way by hitting the boards and dishing out assists but when your #1 scorer (Kobe) goes 7-26 from the floor and is clearly having a bad night you need to step up.

The bottom line is memphis played a tough zone against the Lakers and forced them to take jumpers and the Lakers were unable to convert.

Bynum was 2-7 form the field

Parker was 6-15 from the field

Cook was 2-9 from the field and another BIG reason the Lakers lost
